Once again Sony delivers.
This is an upgrade to the "Music and Movies" line of headphone. The earlier model was MDR-MA100 and MA300.
Pros:
Not used the previous versions but this product is quite good for its price. Bass is awesome. Treble is fine. Perfect for movies and pretty good for music too. Over the ear but does not induce too much sweat around the ears.
Can go pretty loud too. Remember to adjust your PC volume before use. That makes it perfect for movies.

I was in a dilemma to choose headphones for night time movie viewing until I cam across these, I have tried 2-3 expensive headphones like Sony XB-400, Sennheiser 202 II, etc. But these sound better for Movies and TV, Dont expect much from music playback though, its just above average. It has angled drivers, and somehow you can make out distinct sounds like in a home theatre without any virtualization software.

On thing is also good that I can use it as "Muflor" in Winter during my bus journey

For 1250 Rs. this piece is an absolute steal. Brilliant Sony bass quality, crisp sound and very decent noise cancellation. I didn't buy it from FK, but doesn't matter from where you buy, you got to have it if you want a fine budget headphone.

Do not go with the specifications. They are not all correct.
Regarding the circum-aural feature it is as specified. I had edifier headphones before which gave awesome sound, but they would put pressure on my ears and it would pain but these have an inclined inner surface which is very comfortable. I was expecting a volume control and a slight better sound quality but I think these headphones only provide an average sound quality. The bass is good but treble and other sounds MAY be screeching ...

Ordered it on Thursday and got it on Monday.
The packing was also very good no chance of product damage.
Pros:
Light weight.
Cover the ears completely.
Loudness and surround quality is good.
Sufficient cord length.

Cons (which i felt):
Bass could have been better. Bass is good but not like u will expect. I hope this only much will u get for this amount of money from good brands.

A decent headphone with above average clarity across all frequencies. The long wire renders freedom of movement when used with a PC/ TV. Ideal for indoor usage.

Yes, as the title suggests, I've been using this Headphone since September 2013 & really appreciate the quality; thanks to Sony.
