Once again Sony delivers.
This is an upgrade to the "Music and Movies" line of headphone. The earlier model was MDR-MA100 and MA300.
Pros:
Not used the previous versions but this product is quite good for its price. Bass is awesome. Treble is fine. Perfect for movies and pretty good for music too. Over the ear but does not induce too much sweat around the ears.
Can go pretty loud too. Remember to adjust your PC volume before use. That makes it perfect for movies.

Best for Movies and TV!
I was in a dilemma to choose headphones for night time movie viewing until I cam across these, I have tried 2-3 expensive headphones like Sony XB-400, Sennheiser 202 II, etc. But these sound better for Movies and TV, Dont expect much from music playback though, its just above average. It has angled drivers, and somehow you can make out distinct sounds like in a home theatre without any virtualization software.

The Best Headphone
I've ever used to Listen my Music (Specially Titanic).
It is also good for Movie Watching Specially of Hollywood and Latest HD - Dolby Digital Blueray Disk Films on PC, TAB

You are a thief, because its a steal!
For 1250 Rs. this piece is an absolute steal. Brilliant Sony bass quality, crisp sound and very decent noise cancellation. I didn't buy it from FK, but doesn't matter from where you buy, you got to have it if you want a fine budget headphone.

Very good headphones from Sony
Sony products are known for good quality, and the same is true for this headphone set as well. Although I am not a big expert in audio parameters, neither have tested too many brands. But, a week after using this product, am really impressed. Have found the audio output to be better than comparably priced Senheiser and JBL sets. This has very good Bass, and good treble I guess. Also has a bigger expandable diameter of the holder which is good for persons with bigger head, won't put much press...

This is a very good set of headphones.
I wanted it primarily for listening to music, especially instrumental music. It delivers decent bass with moderate treble and excellent mid range.
Also, there is no distortion in bass and voice even with full turbo bass on my hi-fi music system(thanks to the 1000 mW input level).

I was looking for nice pair of headphone for my Sony Xperia Z Ultra. I am neither an audiophile nor a bass lover. I like to listen to the music the way it meant to be heard.

At Par performance
These headphones are best for movies, fine for songs. Do not create big expectations for the headphones as i did the same and wasn't satisfied.
Overall these headphones are not at all bad. Considering its price its a good buy.
