First of all PS4 is way ahead of PS3 in terms of tech specs. So PS4 is a clear win in there.
However what do you gain from PS3 that you won’t get in PS4:
- Its definitely the price tag with the 40K (no-bundle edition), you are shelling almost twice the cost of ps3 price.
Ok consider you’re buying the PS4 for a cheaper price from US then, still what would you not get out of PS4?
- No backward compatibility for PS3 games. All of my fav titles are on PS3 already which are yet to be available on...

bought it from WS RETAIL as sony has said it on their website that they are their authorized online seller. bought it for 22740. i didnt mind putting so much money in this as it was from ws retail and the trust is there !. no need to say , awesome packaging , ordered on 17th july 2.34pm and got it on 19th july 4pm.. kudos for delivery and everything. packed in bubble wrap came out the sony box, but there was some circle kinda tape that was already cut off, but the seal was okay , got the bund...

I will rate Playstation Super Slim through following parameter-

1) Weight and Size.measures approximately 11.4" × 2.3" × 9" (29 × 6 × 23 cm) at its widest points (25% lesser in size of slim model and size is weighs 2.1 KG). My Score for it is 8/10.

I Brought this Beast yesterday and want to share my Experience on Flipkart.

Pros.
1) Smaller and Lighter than Previous Models.
2) Upgraded to 500GB at same price on which previous 320gb model used to come.
3) Fixed Overheating Issues.
4) 2 Games Free worth Rs.2500 Each.
5) Can Carry in Bag with you wherever u go.

Cons.
1) Sliding tray with Top Load Looks Cheap.
2) Plastic quality is Cheap Compared to Previous Slim Model.
3) No Network LED. Only HDD LED Is There.
4) Move Starter Pack Not Bun...

Did a lot of research between Xbox 360 and PS3 -- went for PS3 because it matches my priorities... Didnt buy from flipkart, because once I decide to buy, can't wait for even a minute :-)
Not sure about Xbox as haven't used it, so can't really comment on it - but the reviews say graphics and UI is slightly better in Xbox. The detailed review is neck to neck.

Things I considered while buying...

A before time delievery coupled with nice packaging and free games really adds to the deal. Good experience... PS3 runs very smoothly and games have real life graphics... very good..

Well i already have a Xbox with me, i just wanted to buy this console for the Blu Ray Player which it has.

Secondly i had a thought to buy a 12gb or 500gb PS3. But the price difference was huge, around 6k. But luckily i found an alternative to upgrade the memory.

You can upgrade your PS3 with a 320/500 or even 1 TB hard drive.
But you have to buy a Casing first. A HDD mounting bracket costs around 1k. With this casing any laptop hard drive can be fit into the PS3 ...

I have did lots of research and I found out it has 256 mb of ram..i couldn't believe it 256 mb of rsm fr a gaming consle r u joking..but it runs all the games smoothly without a single lag.can anybody tell how can it run the game smoothly??

Recently purchased the Ps3. Console is awesome and can be used for multiple purpose such as streaming the Internet playing blu ray etc. the 500 memory also gives you the flexibility to put your favourite pics movies in the ps library. The gaming is best experienced when one has connected using Hamilton cable. Although three games are complementary I went ahead to buy few of my own favourite titles which would be an additional expense of 2-5k. Nowadays only 2 version of ps3 is available ; 16gb...

I was mulling to buy a ps4 but then i did a lot of research and found that the ps3 is still the best buy.
