I am writing this after extensively using the headphones for 2 months. I used these headphones on the flight, train, car and at home. The noise cancelling is best on the flight and at home cant say the same abt in traffic and on trains some sounds creep in but not too much that will disturb you. Perfect sound and anti-sound (ironically) machine. As an Indian, I'm infatuated to Bose and it took a lot of listening and research to get convinced that 1000xm2 absolutely trumps over Bose QC35 in all departments!
specially for ANC:
1. QC35 created a lot of pressure discomfort for me (tried for 3 hours)
2. office noise (background chatter) just passes through. it's like ANC further enhance the voices around you. maybe it works for aircraft noise, but definitely not for office/crowd. 1000xm2...

Got these during the Big Billion Days for ~14500 and for that price they're an absolute steal.
Very comfortable, great sound quality, great Bluetooth connection strength and range and best of all, fantastic noise cancelling.
One thing I didn't expect to love was the touch controls, which are superb when they work (which they don't always if I'm honest).

I was hesitant, since the day I started using this headphone to write a review, the reason being I almost thought i wasted my money. Though i bought this on offer for 16k which was a steal but still!! . I was using this headphone on my phone oneplus 3 and trust me it impressed everyone around me but me, because I wanted more out of this piece and kinda disappointed as I wasn't getting it out.
