Sony's engineering expertise has provided this phone with a 12.7 cm TFT capacitive touchscreen. The screen has a large 12.7 cm qHD display with a resolution of 540 x 960 and a pixel density of 221 ppi, making images crisp, bright and sharp.
This phone comes with 1.2 GHz quad-core processor & 1 GB RAM, which accomplishes multiple tasks. Play high grade games with graphics as the Xperia C is loaded with a PowerVR SGX544 graphics chip. Store all the multimedia that is important to your work on the 4 GB internal memory that is expandable up to 32 GB.
The phone has an 8 MP camera with Exmor R and HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology so that you can click images in low light conditions. Click massive landscape shots with the Sweep Panorama feature and flaunt your photography skills.
The Walkman app lets you make your mix of tracks and listen to them as the Clear Audio+ mode and Sony's unique audio enhancement technologies make the sounds that are emitted impeccable. This App is equipped with Clear stereo, Clear Bass, Clear Phase, xLoud, flac and vpt technologies.
To prevent battery drain, the Xperia C has a Battery STAMINA Mode with the ability to recognize when display is not in use and saves power by turning off functions and applications that are not needed, keeping the notifications that are. When the screen is up and running, all the closed applications come back to life.
"Throw" is an application integrated into the Xperia's apps that helps you connect to other devices wirelessly. With this feature, you can use your smartphone to connect to your Wi-Fi-enabled TV through screen mirroring on DLNA. You can even play music on speakers by connecting your phone through Bluetooth.
The accelerometer sensor helps shift from landscape to portrait views and vice versa. It also supports the experiencing of motion-sensitive games to the fullest. The proximity sensor turns off the screen when you're on a call and an in-built compass keeps you informed of the directions when you need to know.
Xperia Care provides you with help and support when you need it - whether you are looking for the latest features or downloading new software.
