Disappointed!

Nice service by flipkart... received the order within 2 days.
The phone worked brilliant initially , smooth graphics , easy to handle with one hand , light , stylish...
But recently after 3 months of buying , it has started giving me touch problems. Typing becomes really very difficult , some portions of the screen become unresponsive.
I need to take some time out and take this phone to the service center now. But I am definitely disappointed.
The good thing is , It never gave me processor ...

Love at first sight!!!

Gifted a Samsung Galaxy S plus to my brother around a month back.
Today, while searching through the humongous catalog of mobile phones on flipkart.com, I came across THE SONY XPERIA U! after applying just 3 filters, namely:
1. Android
2. Dual Core
3. Price Range
and bang, Xperia U came out winning with flying colors!

Then amidst the hoopla over a small issue, I have finally ordered this phone!!! It was really a love at first sight!!!

Guys, I myself a software engineer, and believe me nobod...

Good entry level smartphone.

This is a great looking device, small but those who have used any iDevice will know screen size isnt that bad. And with the Mobile Bravia Engine in it as well, the phone's display really stands out. But looks can be deceiving. This phone comes with a meager 4GB user accessible memory, that might be a real heartbreaker, but some people dont use that much space. I personally dont. The phone is very quick, although I would have preferred more RAM, but since the price came down to 16k i have no a...

Good mobile with except two issues

I was very eager to buy this mobile.. It has all the best features.
-5 Mega pixel camera
-HD video
-Dual Core
-front camera
-3.5 inch screen size etc

but it does not have Memory card slot and has the SAR value 1.62 W/Kg.. Those two issue are very high drawbacks in this mobile.. so i rejected this.. and searching for some other good mobile..

No video calling option

There is no video calling option in the phone. Strange for a dual camera 3G phone.Hoping to get a update for this feature in this phone. Volume of the phone is not also that good. Otherwise all the other features are good. Would recommend if you do not plan to use video call in future.

U Vs V

I've become a big fan of Sony phones after purchasing a Sony Neo V (2 months back). In most of the categories a Neo V (priced at 17 k) out performs phones double its price(Iphone 4 etc.) and Samsung phone priced 5k more than this have got no chance...

But I'm little confused why Sony planned to launch a phone(U) in the same price range when the better option is available(Neo V)

8Gb Internal memory may sound catchy at first against 1 Gb, with 420 Mb available for users(V)but with a 16 GB cla...

A true review

Hello all who are fighting over this phone.. please see other phones if you are stuck over memory issues.

To others,

Please compare with Lumia 710 and see where this phone stands. A better processor and GPU will give it an added advantage. My friend bought this Phone and it is fast and smooth.Games like Modern Warfare 3 rum flawlessly and the display is a joy to watch. For Someone who needs a good second phone and wants great build quality and speed, buy this...else go somewhere else

NXT's GOT POWER!!!

With Sony's NXT Series , It's surely going to make big differences with the price tag given below 18k..

Quick Review :

Pros:

First, and the main is 1Ghz DUAL CORE Processor.
GPU - Mali 400 (Powerful enough!!)
Excellent Sound Quality( 3 D Sound)
With new exchangeable bottom caps.
The colour-changing, illuminating transparent element on bottom
5 Mega Pixel Camera
High ppi (265)

Cons :
Not so good viewing angles
No ICS out of the box (though it is expected by Q3 this year)
