the mats pretty good. for such a price this might be the best out there. it's basically foam but feels more durable and strong enough. I'm someone who practices yoga everyday. slip resistant maybe not. I've very sweaty hands and I find it quite difficult to keep it from slipping off the mat. the strap which comes with it is pretty loose and it doesn't hold the mat as it should do. Doesn't give off any nasty odour. and I received the product without any defects.

Pretty good
The mat quality is good but it would have been better if it were a little longer. I'm 5'9" and i feel a little longer mat would have been better

Worth buying
I gifted this to my parents as they have just started with yoga sessions .They ,usually complain regarding problem with mat being too thin causing them backache but since they got this product they are happy yoga practitioners . It's thick , don't slip off , longer in length than other mats .

Q:How to tie the cloth band on the yoga mat
A:The cloth band has two loops at the ends. Open the loops by moving the stitched ends towards the center. Then put each hand loop around one end of the rolled up mat.
