I bought these IEMs (In-Ear Monitor - for the uninitiated :) ) after hearing a lot about Soundmagic brand from discussion boards. Though they are rated quite badly amongst the biggies, they promise to give the maximum bang/buck, just like their "sister" model PL-11.

I was looking for something with a more balanced sound profile - which gives decent bass as well as colourful mid-tones and also detail in the high end of the frequency spectrum, and PL-21 quite meets those expectations.

very good in balance between base and clarity. Better than high price sony IEMs. If you want only base clarity is not a issue then go for pl11. I am using it about 6 months. Availability of this IEM is very low. Thank you Flipkart for adding this product. There is also a model MP-21 which is actually a PL21+mic. Flipkart plz add MP-21.

I have been watching lot of positive feedbacks about soundmagic products hence I wanted give a try. After little research I purchased this product. It produces some dark base kind of sound and something fun to listen. But if you like neutral sound then go for ES18 or E10. It is almost 20 months, still it is producing good sounds and there is no regret about build quality.

These earplugs are good not great
Ive used it for a year and i had a good experience the best part is the comfort level

I've been using them for over one year now. They're great when it comes to sound quality, clarity at full volume, and build. The Bass isn't the best, but fine for the price I paid for it (Rs900 then approx).

The product I received stopped working well after about 8 months, and the replacement took well over a month and some 20 odd calls!

The sound is really good. I can hear even small sounds very clearly in the background when I watch a movie on my lappy. Especially the English movies. Awesome sound output.

Cons: this is not a good earphones while traveling. The noise cancellation is not as expected. But at home or where you have less noise, these give the ultimate HD experience.

I had ordered this headphone in feb'12 after doing a massive research on the headphones between 800-1200rs category. Finally bought it from flipkart at 920bucks. The packaging was awesome, and the headphones too. It was nice to have a pouch for this price range. Coming to the sound quality, it is neither too treblish nor too bassy. In all it's a good upgrade for the ones going a step up from the stock headphones. Though the sound gets a bit treblish at the upper ends, but distortion does not ...

These earphones are no doubt much better than those which you get with your phone, ipod, etc. My ipod nano earphone speakers' are already busted as they apparently cannot handle the full volume level. However PL21 earphones have no problem handling the highest volume on my ipod nano and they sounds great with very good clarity, however I am a little disappointed by the bass response, it could have been much bet...

well after reading a lot of awesome reviews , i finally decided to buy these . coming from Phillips she3580 .... strangely found them better :O

These lack some treble so maybe that's why.

BUT IN GENERAL, FOR TRAINED EARS THESE SOUND AWESOME !
