A fabulous adventure

'That which does not kill only makes us stronger. What an astute observation by Nietzsche. I wonder if he was on a bus in Nepal when he came up with that. Nowadays, when I hear people whining about the puny little bumps on Indian roads, I tell them to take a vacation in Nepal. The roads in India are buttery slopes compared to the ones in this country. However, this minor detail is not an issue for Nepali bus drivers, who barrel over the ditches with unflinching ferocity, flipping over passeng...

Worth reading

Loved the book—the wit, the humour, the tales of travel, the romance... everything. A great read. Travel writing comes of age.

I laughed out loud several times, esp about the chapter in Nepal. And to forget all the stoner epiphanies these two have on their way, a bit too earnest at times but i guess t...

Fun and crazy indeed

Glad that indian authors especially women writers have taken to writing about travelling and misadventure with a funny note rather than always end up writing about romance and big indian fat wedding. Though it only a dream for most Indian gals to be able to travel like that even though it ends up in silly misadventure. The video was cool....inspired me to read.
