Spring in Action  (English, Paperback, Walls Craig)

I finished the book in 15 days and found it a real gem for learning Spring. This book teaches Spring fundamentals in a very interesting and lucid manner. I also bought Spring Recipes along with that and I think best way is to read both of them together.

This book covers the theory well but lacks in plenty of examples which can be found in Spring Recipes. But if budget does not allow to buy both the books then this is the book you should go for.

I started reading this book to get started and learn some thing new to add to my skill set. Initially I read this book to get general idea of spring. The initial theoretical walk through of this book made it difficult to absorb the new concepts completely(like aspect and multitude of annotations), but I kept going and was hell bent on finishing the book. This is a book which is really good for beginner's as well as programmers alike. Examples are good. Each concepts are made clear and further details given in subsequent chapters. Quite comprehensive. I have used this book even for my teaching on this subject.
