As the book title clearly indicates there are Q&A from SQL covering most of the SQL server functionalities. Book has nice simple English language which makes a read easy and quick. As part of daily job we are not using many things, so this book can act as great refresher. But meaning that its a good refresher does not mean that you will not learn something new. There will be somethings which are not in your knowledge.

I bought the book from flipkart on 7/6/2014. Received it the next day I ordered. But this book has not complete answers. The only reason I ordered is because I may get the detailed answers as the pdf version which is freely available from the authors website had links to get complete understanding of interview questions. But the hard copy is the same as the soft copy. One can keep it as a reference for short Q&A. To find the complete answer, one should check with the internet.

About the book, the index reflects more effective and very enthusiastically opened to complete the book, but the word frames are much confusing and concept conclusions bit worried. But i would say for the people who are suffering where to start, what to start while preparing for interviews ...

This book can be utilized as a beginner's complete course for SQL Server newbies and as a refresher course for SQL Server experts. The trivia enveloped in this book are very interesting and truly educational. The Dba Skills Related Questions are challenging. All in all, I highly recommend this book for anyone who's into SQL Server.
