I bought this pencil and got before expected date. Thanks Flipkart and STAPLES. With a very strong build quality this is maybe the best 2mm lead holder in the Market.

Nice grip . The right weight of the staedler has an added advantage for those who sketch .

This clutch pencil is of superior make and design. The clutch mechanism is smooth and glitch free. The grip is built of metal and remains firm and steady between your fingers, even when your hand is sweaty. The built in sharpener is very helpful too. I have come to expect very high standards from a brand like Staedtler and I can say I am not disappointed. Recommend this to anyone who loves to write/draw with graphite.

Hi, there if you are reading this...then you have come to the right place...
1)First of all there will be two leads (HB)pre-loaded...
2)There will be no extra lead so you have to buy it...and the lead is actually costly...depending on the grades like HB,2B...etc
3)This is for beginners not for the pro's..... but this what an artist needs to do doodling..
4)This pencil have a perfect grip.. and that's what an artist need.
5)It have it's own sharpner on the top end where there'll be small hole...

Overall a good product. But my earlier impression was that the lead will come out gradually in steps when we press the button repeatedly. But instead, you have to press the button and adjust the length of the lead using the other hand.
One more thing: if you don't want staedtler product, then go for camlin 2mm mechanical pencil for only Rs. 50/-, which is equally good or may be better.

This is an amazing pencil from Staedtler, especially if you have to use pencil for long time.
Although, it seems to be on the costlier side, it is totally worth the money.
