Summary of the Book
Luke Skywalker has faced the fearsome Darth Vader in battle. During that battle, he discovered the truth about his father, that Darth Vader was, in fact, Anakin Skywalker. However, he doesn’t have time to mourn the evil that has befallen his father. Luke must find and free Leia and Han Solo, who are held captive by the evil Jabba the Hut. He must also return to Dagobah for further training under the wise and aging Yoda, the last of the Jedi. Once he is ready, once he has mastered the ways of the Force, he must once again return to face Darth Vader in a final bout to destroy the Empire and defeat the Dark Side. However, he has yet to learn that there is no refusing the Dark Side of the Force.
