Great Delivery
For doing MBA and just for gaining knowledge the book is great, filled with examples. But if you are planning for Specialization in Stats. i would recommend Business Statistics and Economics by Anderson and Sweeny. Never the less some topics are great in this book. Solution of the exmple are not provided for Some self solving exmples

A nice book suggested by my professor..a statistical info required for a fresher into Business analytics..
Doesn't contain many solved problems, but there is solved workbook online which then makes the book complete. Easy to understand and can easily skip through lines, because of better presentation. Permutation and combination is not involved which is requisite for understanding probability, otherwise a complete book.

wonderful book for management researchers
Lucid writing with lots of examples. I liked this book instantly. This Indian version is better than the original version which I have read earlier. I think it is highly recommended for management researchers who deals with lots of data. I specially liked the chapters on probability distribution.

Decent book. I would like to add that there was another book i was searching for in Statistics which was not there on the flipkart list. The author is Either Levin or Rubin but not both as in the purchased book. Search for it and let me know if you get it. Its cover page is red in colour.

This edition of the book is beautifully presented. The topics are written in simple terms and easy to understand for someone like me who do not have Statistics background. This book covers the entire course required for professionals to apply in their everyday business problems.

Good, not Best.
Not the best for self-study. Far too 'deep' into mind-boggling details. Not that the topic is a cakewalk but the authors made it even more complex. Needs to have more examples. One by TN Srivastava-Shailaja Rego is better. Or go for Quant techniques by R Selvaraj, C. Loganathan for an easier presentation and more examples. Bulky with too much details and less of 'easily understandable things!! Will suit the experts/teachers more than students.
