After much thought over a month and reading loads of reviews from many websites, I finally thought of buying it from Flipkart. Order placed on Saturday and was delivered on Monday, Sunday being the non-deliverable day. Packaging was awesome, got the product intact and well being. USB data cord and the device were included with some stickers, warranty card, manual and a slip mentioning website from where to download the drivers. I don't understand what do they not include a driver CD with it? ...

I bought this item some days back from here after watching some reviews on youtube. And I must say, its a great and tiny product which delivers pretty much excellent output in games, musics, movies etc.

When steelseries says that Its meant for gamers, you won't doubt about their claims. It delivers virtual 7.1 surround sound, if you have right headphone or IEM, it sounds great, not as perfect as true 7.1, but its good enough.

I bought this for use on my Mac running OS X Mountain Lion. Before buying this, I searched the Internet for confirmation whether this works with a Mac. A couple of review sites stated that this does not work when used on a Mac. However, as per the Steelseries site, this soundcard is compatible with a Mac. This is what happened to me, my Macbook Pro's sound card gone bad, so I thought of buying a USB one. First I bought a 200Rs QHMPL from a local shop, and as soon as I connected it with my Bose Earphone, I knew I lost 200 bucks.

I have been using it for the last 3 months. The sound is louder and crisper compared to the onboard audio on my laptop. The virtual 7.1 surround sound is amazing when used with headphones. I was left wondering why I had bought it earlier! Works with my Windows 7, Windows 8, Ubuntu and Fedora, though the virtual surround feature only works with Windows.

The USB cable has a very high quality as well. The length is 1.5m which is more than enough.

This card is an awesome piece of equipment for gamers... Sounds which weren't clear at 100% volume in normal cards are now crystal clear at 20% volume level.
