He is a certified Project Manager from the Project Management Institute (PMI), USA.
Madhavan has been the Project Manager for several IT projects for Fortune 500 companies and has spearheaded setting up the Project Management Centre of Excellence for a large IT organization.
He has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and over 25 years’ experience in providing leadership for Project Management, Account Management and executing projects both offshore and onsite.
He is a founder member and former Vice President of the PMI Pearl City Chapter, Hyderabad India. He has served as Director at the Bangalore Chapter of PMI.
His first book was “Steering Project Success: Simple Innovations in Execution” which received accolades from Project Managers in India and globally.
This book titled “Steering Project Success: What More is Possible? is the second book and builds from the earlier one to the next level.
Based on his experiential insights he has abstracted and built an unique approach, that adds to the current best practices in Project Management.
To steer the success of projects by engaging with the 'Opportunity Spaces', Madhavan has coined the term 'Project Assurance Management' and vested it with a disciplined approach, to supplement and complement the current knowledge and practices in Project Management.
