This book explains all the regularly used features of MS Project 2013 quite well. However, I also have the book "Step by Step MS Project 2010" from the same authors and that book is better arranged in terms of flow of content.

I think that this book is still the best you can get for MS Project 2013. I had earlier bought MS Project 2010 Inside Out and that book turned out to be pretty bad. This one is much smaller and far better in the content it covers and the approach.
