I read just a couple of pages off this book and I have loved it! This book is a treasure of very valuable wisdom for those raising a daughter. It'll also be great if you have a niece or a granddaughter (or a friend's lil girl) with whom you closely interact. I always knew and believed that raising a boy was different from raising a girl...and this book (and Raising Boys) has confirmed my beliefs. If you're considering buying this book, I'd simply say, go ahead.

I have a cute little daughter ... in this information world me and my wife found a compelling reason to "know" how to bring up our daughter in best possible fashion ... or at least get an idea about "what is usually a best possible approach generally" ... the book is superb in telling so. If you are serious about being a better parent ... read this ... probably we will be able to exercise the practices mentioned in the book for our case ...

I got it after reading the sample. I find this is a great book. I have 1+ year old daughter. All all the usefull tips in it seem to make sense.

i am really glad that i bought this book on a whim. the author understands girls of all ages and is fully aware of the problems they go through. he gives kind, loving but clear advice on how to steer our daughters away from common problems faced by girls in our world today. a book every parent of a daughter MUST read.
