Hand carved indian marble chess set. Chess board is around 10 x 10 inches square and king is almost 2.0 inch high. The main colors of marble used on this chess set are white and dark gray. Board is also decorated with wood inlays. Pawns are of black marble and brown colored natural stone. All pieces are hand carved. Chess set itself is having storage for all of it 32 pawns and is laced with satin feel cloth. Main box is wooden and marble inlays have been placed on top of the wooden box.

Good set
I was looking for a set to teach my children how to play - this has proved to be an excellent starting point. The box is wooden and has an internal lined compartment for the pieces (which are of a good size for my children to handle comfortably) - the board is marble. Once the pieces are set up the feel is good and we have delighted in many hours of learning and playing.
