  • Description

The Story of a Shipwrecked Sailor is the real life account of a sailor who survives a sea catastrophe.

    Summary of the Book

When Garcia was working as a newspaper writer, he had penned a series of stories about a shipwrecked sailor, Luis Alejandro Velasco, who was the only survivor of a ship accident after all of his colleagues drowned. It was told that the disaster happened due to the negligence of the Colombian navy. This book is based on the series of articles written by Garcia. It delves into the instinctive, primitive existence of the man in the face of a disaster, and the resulting solitude.
