About S. S. Bhavikatti

S. S. Bhavikatti is a Professor and former Dean.

He has also authored Design of Steel Structures, Building Construction, Building Materials, and Engineering Mechanics.

After completing his Master’s in Structural Engineering from the University of Roorkee, Dr. S. S. Bhavikatti obtained his doctorate from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Delhi. Dr. S. S. Bhavikatti currently works as an Emeritus Professor at the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Before this, he served as Principal for two years at Vijayanagar Engineering College in Bellary, until 2007.
