There is no real proper documentation of struts online and this book filled that void really well. It includes a CD to help better understand the concepts. The CD is said to include some sample codes that are mentioned in the book although I haven't checked up on them quite yet.

Either way, It's a really nice book that will help you to better understand the struts framework

The book is decent enough to start learning Struts 2 , but it is pretty outdated , and the copy which was delivered to me had absolutely pathetic paper and printing quality

The book is very good for beginners. I suggest you to look at other options also. This is for just basic learning. Examples are quite simple and useful.
