I have been purchasing second-hand copies of books in this series since several years. I was delighted to hear that they were being reprinted by Hachette India. I purchased the box set from Flipkart which was delivered with the now-expected superb efficiency.

Amazing books in this set, especially if you like Westerns. Only issue - the other 5 Suddens from Fredrick H. Christian are available only in soft copy. "Get 'em har' copies. Pronto!"

thank you hachette and flipkart for making this available .. my 40 - yes 40 years wait has ended.. whatever the small quibbles , this is worth its weight in gold... bring out the Fredrick Christian ones also, though i think i will be one of the few lucky one who has about 3 of those too...wonderful

I Love this series had read all of them way back in the eighties, was looking all over for these books , even on Amazon etc, they were out of print. Even bought a few 2nd hand when I found somewhere for my collection. Have just now ordered the set.
Also, would like to get the books in this series by Frederick H Christian. they are equally nice & important for the collection .

This isn't the complete collection. These are the ten titles written by Oliver Strange, who created the character Jim Green, a.k.a. "Sudden".There are five more titles by Frederick H. Christian based on the same character, which are every bit as good as these. I hope they're published, too. These books stand out as adventure novels and give one a pretty good idea of what life in the American Wild West was like. They're also great as character-building novels.

I had read the books(4) when I was about 12 years of age, and even after 50 years the stories in each of Oliver Strange's work is so fresh and so very enjoyable.

Strange's uncanny wit, his ability to bring alive the actual scene in his descriptions is simply amazing.

Sudden is a must read series.

I have read a few of the Sudden series about 35 to 40 years back. Was hunting around for the rest. Glad that the New Edition is on . Don`t miss these - they will take you back to the era of the wild west.

It is not the complete collection. Three books are not included in the collection, namely Sudden --Troubleshooter, Sudden --At bay & Sudden -- Apache fighter. can I get these three books in paperback edition please as I have been searching for them a long time. Otherwise the collection is quite good, The print is excellent. flip cart customer
