About the Author
Swami Buddh Puri Ji was born in the Punjab state of India. His innate interest was in the world of spirituality and the strong spiritual experiences of his childhood and youth gave him a clear vision for his life course. His outer journey advanced naturally too, as he pursued his education. After completion of his M.Tech. from IIT Delhi in 1972, and teaching for a couple of years at MNREC, Allahabad, his material responsibilities were fulfilled. He then answered the long awaited inner call and resigned himself to the constant company of his Gurudeva, Swami Dayalu Puri Ji. He was thus initiated into the lineage to which belonged many illustrious Masters, such as Swami Totapuri Ji who initiated Shri Ramakrishna Paramhansa into Nirvikalpa Samadhi. After his Gurudeva\'s mahanirvana, he lived in the Himalayas and pursued his practices for more than a decade. The wealth of research culminated in an inspiration that the final goal of spirituality lied in the transubstantiation of the human body through the descent of divine energy. This goal is still being pursued, and he spends almost all his time in his cell, working out innumerable ways for this ultimate realization. His research has inspired the advent of powerful practices like Sanjivani Kriya (for invigorating the prana throughout the body), Agni Kriya Yoga (for lighting up the fire element within through the use of external fire), Siddhamrit Surya Kriya Yoga (for paving the way to superhuman transformation), that continue to bring health to the diseased, spiritual evolution to the healthy, and body- transubstantiation to the spiritually evolved.
