Author Info | - Badrilal Swarnkar is a former officer of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS-SC2002) and the Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS-DR1984) with an administrative experience spanning 36 years. He has worked in the departments of District and Revenue Administration, Urban and Rural Development, Revenue Generation, Education, etc., in the Government of Rajasthan. After retirement from the civil service in July 2017, Mr. Swarnkar worked as an Honorary Senior Fellow, Centre for Management Studies (CMS) for three years until July 2020, at the Udaipur campus of the Administrative Training Institute (ATI), the Harishchandra Mathur Rajasthan Institute of Public Administration (HCM-RIPA), Jaipur.
Mr. Swarnkar holds multiple degrees including MA (English Literature), MBA (HR), and a PG Diploma in Remote Sensing & GIS. He is multilingual with proficiency in English, Hindi, Sanskrit and Urdu. Mr. Swarnkar regularly delivers motivational speeches to young government officers on transparency, accountability and responsiveness on the government administrative system and also helps the youth striving for their education and employment.
