Description

Swimming Home discusses the experiences of Joe Jacobs, a poet who goes on a family vacation. However, his peaceful vacation is ruined by Kitty Finch, a fan of Jacobs.

Summary of the Book

Joe Jacobs, his wife, daughter and friends decide to go to his place in France for a vacation. His time there is rudely interrupted by Kitty Finch who is a crazy fan of Joe’s. It is obvious that Kitty is not just a huge fan, but is also sexually attracted to Joe Jacobs. Knowing her fascination with her husband, Isabel, Joe’s wife, still invites her to stay with them. This turns out to be a bad idea because Kitty’s obsession and mental problems only get worse.
