Court room drama that whets your appetite!!

Indeed a typical john Grisham style. This is my fourth read in Grisham series. And still
keeps up the charm.

For the avid readers of court room drama series, this is an interesting pick. In his signature writing style, the description of scene is so elaborate, that makes you feel a part of the real court proceedings.

The characters are interesting and you don’t miss a link.A thick book is usually not my types. But this book keeps you so gripped. Enjoyed it.

One of my best reads

The start is good, the middle is dull, but the End - is exceptionally good. A superb end and I guess that's when realised why the book became a bit dull in the middle. It's all a built up. Once the courtroom trial starts, you will read till midnight (or probably even till morning) to finish it because u just don't want to get ur eyes off the book. Great built up, superb suspense, and immaculate characterisation. Read the book till the End. Don't leave it midway, you'll really miss something.

John Grisham like always

John Grisham's book like always is a good read and this book has been a good read like the others. Well bound, smells good (I kind of like the smell of new books) and a good size to hold in the hand and ready. The ordering process was very painless and the delivery was done before the expected date which was a good experience.

Not a bad read!

Had a high expectations because of the prequel. Nothing like it, though.

Sycamore Row starts promisingly, holds the readers' attention pretty decently, slacks in the middle, turns predictable towards the end. However, Grisham manages to churn out a pretty decent book by the end.

Don't compare it with the master's best books, don't compare it with its prequel, and don't have too many expectations out of it. Else you will be disappointed.

A journey into the past... Another exciting courtroom entertainer from John Grosham

I haven't penned down too many reviews but, this book prompted me to write one.
With 'Sycamore Row', John Grisham takes you back to Clanton City, Jake Brigance, Carl Lee Hailey and "A Time To Kill'. If you have enjoyed A Time To Kill, you will enjoy Sycamore Row as well. It is a fast moving book about a Holographic Will (and of course racism). The beginning is interesting and dramatic. As always, when the trial begins, John Grisham writes so elegantly that one actually hears and sees the cour...

Interesting but fairly predictable

Decent story but a little predictable especially towards the end. Not a page turner but a very decent airport read.

Sycamore Row by John Grisham (Review)

The book consists of 550 pages. This book is all about racial America in the 1980's.It is filled with raw emotions. At a time it was even legal to brutalize the blacks.John Grisham hits the hidden emotions & hit them hard. This book demands justice for the blacks when you reach the climax. It is even sometimes awful to think humans can be that ruthless. In the book an old man named Seth Hubbard tries to bridge the gap of injustice.Nevertheless the book boasts of the same characters as in A Time To...

A good read...

About the book : Although a good story it does not match up to "A Time To Kill".
About flipkart : Delivery was prompt , but packaging was very poor.
