    Just okay

Picture quality is average for the price. Lacks sharpness at telephoto end beyond 150mm.
There are visible amounts of barrel distortion at 18-35mm range. Zoom ring is too hard and the manual focus ring is too loose.

Good thing is , they provide lens hood inside the box.

Not recommended unless you really cannot carry two lenses around

    About Tamron 18-270

the lens was good to use but i found the moment of lens bit difficult not as smoth as i was expecting. The lens is heavy and most useful.I still don't understand the use of hood of lens.
    but i was not satisfied with zoom in free gift which was refereed on ad and on box of lens as the site gets stick and remain fixed any way the lens is so fascinating that this experience is . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .okay.

Tamron 18-270mm F/3.5 6.3 Di II VC PZD (for Canon Digital SLR) Lens

My first telephoto zoom lens. Good looking as well as good performance. Vibration compensation works fine. Lens is quite. I have yet to test in low light conditions. But, my first impression is that it is a very good lens at this price point. I have snapped a few photos from a distance of about 50 metres and I am more than pleased with the results. I am not a pro, so I am not entering into the technicalities but overall wonderful lens.

A very good versatile and a fit-it and forget lens.

I would recommend this lens for people who travel a lot. Firstly the build quality and handling is good, secondly there is no compromise in the quality of images and finally the price isn't that high when you compare it with the canon lens. I bought this lens at a mind boggling price during one of those sales promoted by flipkart and got an effective discount of almost 25%. So guys keep an eye on flipkart's website for those exciting offers.

    Tamron 18-270mm

Nice lens and easy to handle. The manual focussing works smooth throughout the entire range. Highly recommended as a single lens for wide angle and telephoto combined.

An extremely good lens for travellers and everyday use.

If you are a photobuff and also travel a lot , this is lens you may very seriously consider. This lens from Tamron won the EISA 2012 best product in zoom lens category . Having a length of 18-270 mm it covers the range a traveler requires. Having said that , it is also quite light , fast and smaller , hence weight and space are 2 factors you need not worry about. Auto focussing is fast and accurate and color rendering is very real life . The much talked about PZD drive is real silent , hardly...

Please dont gor this lens for cannon camera...

Auto focus is not very accurate, blurry images in low light, distortion is quite high on full zoom. Overall the picture quality is very poor..https://in.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20120109232513AAkvlr8. It would be grateful if flipkart drop this item from the list..
