    Very good.

After a lot of confusion and reading a lot of reviews, I decided to buy this lens, because its performance at 300mm is better than Nikon and I am very happy with my decision.

The only problem with Tamron is, they have only 3 service centers in India.

    Amazing Lens

Bought it in January and it has been impressive right from the very first shot. I use it on my Nikon D5200. I have got other lenses also, but this is the one I almost always keep on my camera. My favorite now.

Image quality is very good, focus is very fast and Vibration Compensation works like a charm. Full value for money.

    Superb Lens

I have recently bought this lens and I must say that its a steal at this price range. This lens churns out awesome colours and mind blowing sharpness even on the edges. Telephoto gives me an advantage while clicking portraits. The auto-focus motor is silent and the VC works really well.

I love every bit of this lens.

    Great lens with Great price.

First I would say that Flipkart has exceeded my expectations by delivering this product to me in 26 hours. Even my local vendor asked for 02 days to make this lens available. Kudos to flipkart.

Talking about the lens, all I can say is that it delivers more then what you are paying. In some terms it is much better then Nikkor's version.

    Pro's:
    1. The optics of this lens are better then Nikkor. Images even at the 300mm are clear and sharp. No visible softness observed.
    2. The Auto focus is p...

    A very versatile lens

This is possibly one of the best lenses from the Tamron stable at this price point. It is very versatile. Auto-focus is tremendous if light conditions are good and fair if it is poor. There is minimal hunting. VC is too good & gives you a definitive advantage. There is corner-to-corner sharpness all through from wide to tele provided there is no camera shake. Bokeh is too good & very pleasing. All in all it is a must have for every photo enthusiast.

I picked up my copy from a retailer and no...

Go for it, you will definitely fall in love with it

    Positives:

Tamron 30-700 VC USD is a great lens with tach sharp pics.
This lens offers a great telepho range for my Nikon D5200, The pictures are quite sharp even at 300mm with a shutter speed of 1/15 thanks to its phenomenal VC technology.
The build quility of the lens is quite solid and feels premium.
The VC of Tamron is way ahead than Nikon.
    The autofocus is quite fast.
It produces nice bokeh effects with zoom above 135mm.
The sweet-spots for this lens is f8. The pictures look quite clea...

    Amazingly sharp

    Pros:
    1: Sharp and agile.
2: Slightly wide aperture compared to Nikon 70-300mm VR, which makes difference.
3: VC is effective, gives positive results. With a tripod, results are even better,
    4: Cool bokehs. Very impressed.
5: Af is quick. USD adds on to the control of blur and shakes.
    Cons:
Poor performance during darkness. Manual mode with a tripod manages to give images, but not that great.
Overall awesome piece of glass. Totally happy with the buy, blind option over nikon 70-300mm VR du...

    Tamron 70-300 Zoom Lens Review

I have recently bought this lens through flipcart. I made this decision after reading many reviews comparing Nikon and Tamron 70-300 lens. Flipcart service was good, I got this lens in time in excellent condition. After trying this lens with my Nikon D5100 I found its color saturation and detail to be very good. Even at 300mm the image looks crystal clear and its focusing and VR works very smooth. I think I made a right decision buying this lens for my DSLR.

    Just bought it

So far so good...its about same when compared to the Nikon's 70-300 with a price saving of 5k. I read a lot of reviews before purchasing the Tam 70-300 and m pretty impressed with its offering. One of my friend also own this lens fr 1 yr now and he is all praised about it. The only con which I have noted so far:
    - The focal length is not that smooth to roll. May be it will become smoother later!

FYI: M using this lens on my Nikon D90
