My first experience with this lens was on one of my colleagues D5100, we were both out on a photo walk. We were shooting a dragon fly, me with the 55-250 and he with the Tamron 90mm, after the day of shooting we ended up comparing shots of this dragon fly, I was amazed at the level of details and sharpness that this lens produced. A very good & versatile Lens. The build quality of the lens is good and the image quality and sharpness is excellent. The auto focus does struggle sometimes,but the option to switch over to manual focus does come in handy. Over all ...its the best product in this price bracket.

A very sharp picture, lens gives beautiful blur backgrounds.. I am satisfied with d performance. And thanks to flipkart for proper packing n delivry.

Given the price, its an excellent lens for macro photography.

1. No VC, but you know that while purchasing
2. Hunts for focus in low light conditions

its just a half day i receive this lens, its just super as expected
still need to try in bright light..

Considering the value, what a great lens this is. Overall build quality is pretty good, the image reproduction is point sharp. Extremely versatile with the presence of Limit/Full focus switching.

On the negative side, the lens is a little loud if you are into insect photography and slow AF makes it a tad difficult in tight conditions.

If you don't mind that, overall this lens is a great buy.

Oh and flipkart service, the lens was delivered in 4 hours flat. Wow, you guys! Hats off.
