You get a new e-mail ID with your name (that you give for shipping address, most likely).
The e-mail id is tied to a working 365 account which just functions properly.
I've noticed that I get notifications from uploads of people I don't know.
So I am guessing that these e-mails are tied to some organization, like those .edu accounts and you get notification when someone else who belongs to the same organization uploads something.
