This has been a fascinating reading. Sometimes I felt I was reading a detective novel. Dr. VSR's analysis and presentation of the same is very consistent. All the analysis is based in the light of basic tenets of evolution.

Dr.Rama is a well known neuroscientist, the book explains every small brain functions in a great detail.the book is written in the form of conventional method of any physiology/ psychology book.. a case studies of his patients.this book deals with lot even the higher order brain functions such as moral,beauty,consciousness..etc. those who have interest in human intelligence it's good book for you, absolutely No doubt.

Simply wonderful... forget his mastery over the subject: he is one of the best neuro-scientists in the world! His style of writing, his storytelling skills make this book an interesting read.

I have never read a book over 200 pages. This book is about 400 pages and I am enjoying reading it. The book might be about the most complex organ in Human Body, but its written in the most simple manner possible with an engaging conversational style.

I bought the book after reading the reviews and gazing into its 5 Star rating for unreasonably long time. The author treats the brain as a black box and tries to understand its functionality by studying patients with physiological brain abnormality resulting in phantom limbs, synaesthesia, apraxia, autism etc.
