      Description

Depicting the story of the famous court-jester and poet, the book Tenali Raman Read and Colour  - Kannada by Media Fusion is a children’s book that tells the stories from Raman’s life while making children enjoy the fun of coloring pictures. Tenali Raman, Garlapati Tenali Ramakrishna, was one of the eight Ashtadiggajas of King Krishnadevaraya’s court. He hailed from the small town of Tenali, in the Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh, and when he came to the court of the king in Hampi, he was referred to as the ‘man from Tenali’, and the moniker stuck to his name, so that he was henceforth known as Tenali Raman. Also given the title of Vikata Kavi, Tenali was a well loved court jester and poet. But most of all, he was known for his wittiness. The book narrates ten stories from the life of the poet, where Tenali’s wit and cleverness save the day. Each story is told by the means of pictures, and kids can have a wonderful time filling in colors in these pictures while they read and enjoy the stories. There is even a fun activity at the end of the book, designed to enhance the creativity and the imagination of young kids in the age group of 6-8 years. This book is in Kannada.
