Yashavant Kanetkar is an author.
Apart from this book, Kanetkar has authored Direct X Game Programming Fundas, Interview Questions In C Programming, and Test Your Unix Skill.
Kanetkar completed his B. E. from VJTI, Mumbai, and he earned his M.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He has written several books on topics such as Direct X, .NET, C, C++, VC++, COM, and C# programming. He also contributes regularly to publications such as Developer 2.0 and Express Computers. Microsoft has presented him with the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional and Best .NET Technical Contributor awards. He has trained a number of IT professionals in the past 15 years. He is also a regular speaker on several technology subjects. Kanetkar currently holds the position of the Director of KICIT and KSET, both of which are based in Nagpur.

Excellent book!
Before you refer to this book you should have a fairly good knowledge of C. This book has chapters which covers most of the different aspects of C, which you probably might not come across in your everyday coding life. When we code, we tend to do it in the "correct" manner. Only in an off case do we end up with a bug and then go deep down to understand why that happened.
This book opens the doors to getting more understanding the beauty and subtlety of C! Mr. Yashwant Kanetkar...

This book is good to clear your concept but my suggestion do not straight-away jump to this book.. First read a text book of OOP/ C . then go through this book. Content of this book is presented in questions-answers format.. These will clear your concept only if your have read the textbook.

Great Book For C++ Learners
Don't think much just go for it. Yashavant Kanetkar is the best author for C and C++.
