Great for Engineering Students!

I found this calculator quite useful for various calculations.
The interface is very easy to learn, you can play with it and learn it eventually, but a manual with examples for each feature is available!
Features :
1)Conversion of most type of qty.s included.
2)Multitap feature is a definite plus point over Casio calculators.
3)Is able to find the regression equations for a data(yes you can enter in data and store in the memory), using linear, quadratic, logarithmic and exponential.
4)You can...

Refreshing

The calculator is refreshing in all aspects - looks, usage and convenience compared to our usual Japanese calculators. Options were very easy to use the first time itself. It is definitely recommended for all engineers and mathematicians.

Review of Ti-36X Pro

well, I am professional structural engineer using calculators since 2001 ( time of engineering completion ) . without calculator i cannot survive in the office.
Texas Instrument calculator has some design problem, I had to buy a CASIO Fx -991 ES PLUS after buying this calculator
here is my review
First i am listing out the
Cons:
1. This model is a black calculator. The entire keyboard setup is BLACK and the text is written in blue and the major design flaw is except the numeric keys a...

TI 36X Pro Scientific Calculators.

TI’s 36X Pro calculator really scores well in terms of function coverage, ease of usage and stylish looks.
Functions like modulo and algebraic functions for finding gcd, lcm, prime factor, which are not present in any other calculators of this price range, are present in the TI Calculators. Very important statistical functions like normal pdf, normal cdf, binomial pdf, binomial cdf, poissons pdf etc are the distribution functions in this calculator. In addition to these, it has regression fu...

Texas Instruments is always the better choice!

My dad had bought me a cheap Casio fx-82MS at 1st when I started high school. It proved inadequate in many ways for engineering college. So I decided to buy this model. And after operating I found that I had made a very good choice.
For the same price range it is much better than Casio 991-ES. You can directly type the variables x, y, z & t if you want to find definite integral or derivative. Also it has a nice display system called Mathprint which lets you type just like it is printed in tex...

Good alternative to Casio

Casio enjoys majority of Indian Scientific Calculator market share. Now with TI's aggressive marketing campaigns and quality of the product, there is going to be an impact in this segment in upcoming 3-5 years timeframe.

About the product: Its user friendly product and no need to refer the user manual for most of the usual functions.

Product is delicate and not as rugged as displayed in the photographs. Value for the product is great for the price range.

TI = Totally Incredible.

I got this from Flipkart after maybe a strict, nearly endless comparison with the Casio FX-991ES Plus. I've been using it for the past semester and to be honest, this is the one calculator I recommend to everyone.

Pros:
Versatile. I don't have to switch modes, so I can add two vectors, then realize I have to multiply two matrices and find the inverse of said product, then differentiate and integrate a function in the same "environment".

Fast. Does complex integrations at least one second fa...

Terrific purchase

Excellent product from TI. Perfect combination of sturdiness , good build quality and excellent calculating abilities. You can obviously get a casio with close ergonomics but TI 36X PRO.... it is for them who wan' t something different. Using it for 3- 4 days --- pleasing experience. Only the customer service can be a case to worry about. Nevertheless the product is commendable, calculations are smooth, hope it will not trouble in the long run. Display is also cool. The brightness level c...

Most feature-rich scientific calculator!

Texas Instruments needs no introduction to those familiar with Electronics and/or Technology. As the inventors of the IC and hand-held calculator, you'd expect them to nail it when it comes to calculators, and the TI-36X Pro delivers on every count! There is practically every function imaginable (conceivable on a scientific calculator) crammed into this masterpiece of a calculator, just short of graphing and programming capabilities.

Arithmetic, Boolean, Matrix and Vector Algebra, Differenti...
