Spread over thirteen chapters, apart from the text in simple and lucid language, the book carries about a thousand odd objective type questions in the like of the UGC NET examination, followed by an answer key at the end of each chapter. Importantly, an effort has been made to frame questions whose solution will require not only knowledge of facts and figures on various topics but also some mental effort within the framework of the syllabus.
