Just okay
I had high hopes for this one. I loved the story of origin of a word but list of words could not hold my interest for long and I left it after reading only few words. I generally avoid buying paperbacks or hardcover books but I thought this could be a good coffee table read. Also did not expect Mr. Tharoor to bring politics into it.

Worth every penny
This book by tharoor is actually a generous effort to spread knowledge of words to world and if you are someone who really loves literature just go for it.
Also it never gets boring because the meaning of words have been discribed with the help of short stories. Also i feel that sometimes he was trying describe some words with political refference but it's fine... Succinctly if u want to upgrade your vocabulary must buy it!
