A fairly interesting read but it does not have the gripping thrill of Grisham' earlier books as the basic plot is rather weak. The ending is abrupt making it seem unfinished . Perhaps a sequel is in view?
The Associate was a good read but definitely does not surpass its predecessors. The story was intriguing and kept me constantly guessing but the end was abrupt which didn't suit the pace of the story. Its a good read for those idle evenings hen one has nothing to do but read. All in all,if you are a Grisham fan,you wouldn't consider these shortcomings.
this book started off well..but ended like a sudden death..... things were shaping up quite properly...the debacle was when the main plot that surrounds the story happens without giving it a proper thrill, mystery, zeal to the reader.....the climax was a sure flop....it seemed the write was himself bored of writing the story...... but the plus point is Grisham has the power to continue a plot quite apprehensively....it kept on keeping the reader include the incidents in his/her life...
