For the pricepoint i think it is a terrific release. It would have been nice to have an original 2 disc version released. The behind the scenes and extras would have been worth a watch.

Note to all Studios releasing BDs in India. Trust me, people are ready to pay, provided we get the same treatment as US or UK releases..

I got my Bluray from flipkart today and as always their service was quick and perfect, the Blu ray is awesome, it also has Hindi audio (will surely use it for fun someday )so and tbe free comic with it made this a Best Buy!
Now to enjoy the movie again in the comfort of home :)

Generally i am a DC guy, but gotta agree that Marvel has some pretty solid movies and Avengers is one of them. I really haven't bought many Blu-ray, because in India its kinda expensive seeing your average income, so when avengers came out on blu-ray it was a whooping Rs.1099 in flipkart, then i was very interested in buying it, but budget stopped it, and then after some time, i saw it was on sale for Rs.499 and i didn't miss that opportunity, i ordered it and flipkart delivery is good as alw...

I have only checked the quality of the movie and found it to be excellent. 7.1 Sound and a brilliant video quality makes it a product worth buying. This is a must have for all movie lovers. The Blu Ray is worth the money you pay

I am watching this now and the bluray is awesome but many people are saying that there are no extras and some say that there are extras, please can any one confirm this. And the video and audio quality are great but there's one thing that this bluray uses AACS MKV version 27 which may not work in some old players,otherwise its great.

The movie may be the third highest grosser of all time in Hollywood but I was disappointed with the overall package.

Pros:

1. Good picture quality with razor sharp details.
2. Great special effects. Very slick overall production.

Cons:

1. Same old predictable story , if I were to cut and paste a few scenes from Battleship or Transformers 3 (especially the last fight scenes on the city streets) you would not be able to tell the difference.
