    Just an IMPOSTER

The writer and its writer are a case of wannabes.

It tries to include indian culture and touch but ends being cheap and pathetic.
Story is monotonous and utterly boring.

I would not recommend this book.

Meet the Indian John Grisham - Ravi Subramanian

After a long time I read a gripping financial thriller by an Indian author.
I found book attention-grabbing & would suggest to everyone who want to read some crusty & non- superficially emotional tales. A versatile script woven around three analogous sub plots, the narrative whiz through different parts of the world while keeping its readers speculate about the next course of events. The first story deals with a covert CIA agent trafficking ‘blood diamonds’ & unlawful arms with some fanatic ...

Grab on Folks!!! Best of 2012 by an Indian Author that I Read

The Title is apt and the cover page goes with the theme.
A diamond deal in Angola, a disturbing story in Kerala and then lots happening in Great Boston Global Bank in Mumbai- it was fun absorbing all end to end and the inter-relation was perfect.
The Bankster and a gangster who is related to one of them makes it 'THE BANKSTER'
The Author has given us a great book, keeping the readers engaged, entertained and enthralled across the pages. The writing style is neat and uncomplicated jargon mak...

Ravi Subrmanian Going Clive Cussler Way

I am a proud owner of all the banking stories of Ravi Subramanian. This is a good book and definitely better than the previous one.Yes it is for people in BFSI Sector and\or in MNC's who are more familiar with the cutthroat competition and corporate treachery.Ravi's works are for,of and by Multinational Bank setups. He ignores the Public Sector,Private Sector and Co Operative Sector in Banking totally(Something that I have posted in his FB Page). It is about this minority he has woven tales of t...

    Must Read ...

For someone who has some understanding about financial world must read this book. It has a wonderful mix of crime, politics, romance and mystery. Like his earlier publications, Ravi Subramanian’s way of narrating the events is excellent and keeps you glued to the storyline. I have read the earlier three releases from Ravi and I can simply say this is one of the best. My suggestion to ppl who have not being introduced to Ravi’s work, please go read all his releases.

The Banker err Gangster err is an intriguing read

I had purchased the previous books from the same author so i had a positive impression from the start. As such, i am not a very big fan of lovey dovey novels or the typical Hindi masala type ones. So this book was a breather.

Like the previous books by the same author this novel is centered on the banking industry. The author is an expert in this field and thus every word that he says is credible and to a certain sense intriguing.

The idea of connecting a Nuclear Plant, a Global Bank and Bl...

    The Entertaining Bankster!

The first look at the book, The Bankster and following thoughts strike you...
"The Bankster? Does that mean a Banker who is a Gangster?"
The cover page has a quote from The Wall Street Journal which says, “Meet the John Grisham of banking’. "John Grisham?? Aha! This will be exciting!"

The Bankster has three stories set in 3 different cities- Angola, Kerela and Mumbai! The three stories are so diverse and it is hard to believe that they would have a common link. This unpredictability keep...

    Thriller of a read

A thriller of a read... The story, as in all Ravi's novels before on Banking, had started with a gripping start and maintained the same pace throughout till the end of the novel and this one is no different.

The plot is mainly based on two places: Mumbai and in a small village in Kerala, and the third place kept varying..from South Africa, to Israel to Vienna... The narrative is too catchy, and in some of the narratives, the author had brilliantly portrayed the essence of the scene (like th...
