Summary of the Book
There was once a boy with his sister Sally,
Who were left alone, for an afternoon’s dally.
In pops a stranger, a seven foot cat.
Wearing a most magnificent hat.
Go away, says Sally, trouble you’ll cause.
I’ll stay, says the Cat with the big white paws.
He shows them his tricks, magical to see.
They forget all worry, and watch with glee.
But the Cat in the Hat is trouble, at best.
And he’ll definitely put their patience to the test.
