Excellent
The book displays the struggle of African-american women. The novel is disturbing as it shows harassment on women and children, teen pregnancy and injustice towards black people. The women characters in the novel are very unique and different from eachother and at the same time very beautiful in their own way. The ending is good. I recommend the book to all and specially the students of literature.
