    Corner Office - Thumbs Up

A great read for people across ages - those who are starting their race in the corporate world, mid-level management as well as those who have been working for a long time.Even those not in the corporate world will find this interesting as it will give them an insight into what they might or might not have missed out on!

As someone who is young in their career, this book really made me think and want to set my priorities as a young manager.

    Everyone's Dream - Corner Office

This line at the end "People would come and People would go, but Trust Corporation would exist, thrive and go on forever" sums it up really well. People will come and go but companies which are build to last, stay in one form or another. Author has demonstrated very well how good and bad times for companies as well as its employees come and go. How it changes the path of employees but in the end its business as usual.

    Racy and Fast moving

This book grips you right from the beginning and you won't want to put it down till you finish it. I read it in three hours and found the character sketches of the five individuals very powerful. It made me think a lot about what we want in life, how we achieve it and whether anyone really wins in the end. Though set in India, it has universal appeal and could be about corporate individuals anywhere in the world.

    Pretty Average!

The book is average according to me I bought it because of excellent reviews and ratings but got little disappointed after completing it.
Too much fantasy and masala was roped in which made it unbelievable in the end, if it had been kept a little practical it would have been a great read.

Buy it if you like a light book while travelling, I liked some of the things in between but overall I will term it as average.

    Ringside view

To paraphrase George Bernard Shaw, "Those who can do, those who can't write [teach]."
It is clear Ashutosh Garg both can, and can write [teach]. You can live 30 years in a corporate race, or read the book! While it is a work of fiction, but it is reality that is repeated daily in the corporate world.
    Enjoyed every page!
Also applaud Ashutosh for taking to the arts.....wish more real business people wrote.

    Indian Corporate environment

Writer has given a good picture about Indian Corporate environment. Most writers like to write about Call Centers and stuff but this is a refreshing book about entire corporate scene in India. Some may find it easier than others, but only a few will make it to the top.

    Not far from reality

This story is a classic example of how are things inside corporates in India. Almost everybody who comes out of a B-School these days has highest aspiration to make to the top of a fortune 500 company. With so many contenders and little opportunities out there, things are bound to get ugly. I know so many people, similar to characters in the book, who have completely screwed their personal lives just for the sake of their professional careers.
