Why is there a shipping charge for this item?

Sellers with Flipkart Assured waive off the delivery charge for Orders over Rs 500. For Orders under Rs 500, a nominal delivery charge is added per item.

Sellers without Flipkart Assured may or may not add a delivery charge to your Order. This is subject to Seller discretion.

What is the estimated delivery time?

Sellers generally procure and ship the items within the time specified on the product page. Business days exclude public holidays and Sundays.

Estimated delivery time depends on the following factors:

      • The Seller offering the product
      • Product's availability with the Seller
      • The destination to which you want the order shipped to and the Seller's location

Why does the delivery date not correspond to the delivery timeline of X-Y business days?

It is possible that the Seller or our courier partners observe a holiday between the day you placed your order and the date of delivery, which is based on the timelines shown on the product page. In this case, we add a day to the estimated date. Some courier partners and Sellers do not work on Sundays and this is factored in to the delivery dates.

Sometimes, items have to be sourced by Sellers from outside India. These items are mentioned as 'Imported' on the product page and can take at least 10 days or more to be delivered to you.

      'Back In Stock Soon'

The item is popular and is sold out. You can however 'book' an order for the product and it will be shipped according to the timelines mentioned by the Seller.

Why does the estimated delivery time vary for each seller?

Delivery times are influenced by product availability, geographic location of the Seller, your shipping destination and the courier partner's time-to-deliver to your location.

Please enter your default pin code on the product page to know more accurate delivery times on the product page itself.

Seller does not/cannot ship to my area. Why?

Enter your pincode on the product page to know whether the product can be delivered to your location.

If you haven't provided your pincode until the checkout stage, the pincode in your last used shipping address will be used to check for serviceability.

Whether your location can be serviced or not depends on:

      • Whether the Seller actually ships to your location
      • Legal restrictions, if any, in shipping particular products to your location
      • The availability of reliable courier partners in your location

At times Sellers prefer not to ship to certain locations. This is entirely at their discretion.

Curse of surya - nice pick

I would say decently organized into several small number of chapters . Reader can get acquainted with the storyline as on reading but not unless you complete the book. Twists
    are assured.

Curiosity spin around is not hasty like present day books. Its moderately timed keeping the story ticking until the end. Fillers are added to make niche to the story once in a while between chapters ..that's smart authoring.

Do pick this book for your train/bus journeys...

    The Curse of Surya

I'm extremely amazed by this book......All the mysteries and unanswered questions around the Shyamantaka was put together to make amazing thriller story, and I liked it a lot! I'd love to read more books like this, by taking mysteries around a certain thing and making a story around it is absolutely wonderful and required a lot of thinking and creativity. I personally liked the cliffhangers which persuaded me to just keep on reading and not stop. well written and awesome book!!!

    Fast paced and gripping

The words – Fast paced and gripping – mentioned in the summary at the back of this book were good enough for me to start reading this book. And also when a book revolves around something related to India it definitely increases the excitement in me to read it. After reading I can definitely say that it’s a thriller with Indian mythology involved and makes you want to read more and finish it.
The story has defined characters of 3 main people who are from different backgrounds and different pa...

A mystery novel without any over the top details but solid storyline. Yes, that's what The Curse Of Surya is all about. The characters are well defined and have a specific role to play. Sangeeta has been portrayed as an intelligent yet romantic lady. Alan too is brilliant. The book has a gripping start which other mystery ovels fail to deliver. It keeps you hooked. A book one can pacefully finish from start to end without having to keep a tab at unneceesary details. The author leaves bits and...

Enthralling Read but could have been better

The story begins with the murder of a Tibetan reporter and takes us through a variety of characters, each having a hidden goal. The author weaves a delicate story of thieves, cops, grave diggers and the Syamataka mani, that elusive jewel etched in Indian mythology. Those readers who have read Dan Brown's - The Da Vinci Code and many other novels such as "The Krishna Key" along similar plot lines might find this is a me too book. The novel is filled with cliches and plot loop holes that enthra...

    A good, easy read

I recently got a chance to read The Curse of Surya by Dev Prasad while on my birthday trip. This book is what one might call a mythological mystery set in modern times, a-la The Da Vinci Code or Chanakya’s Chant.

This book is set in locations inhabited by Krishna during his era (Mathura, Dwarka etc.) and focuses around a jewel called the Shyamantaka that was lost during Krishna’s times. What powers does the jewel hold, who all are the interested stakeholders in this jewel, what transpires be...

A well researched and well delivered thriller

Storyline: The book is a mystery/thriller with a hint of historical fiction. Two people are accused of being terrorists and in order to prove their innocence, they have to find a precious gem lost of thousands of years ago. What follows is a quest, betrayal, chasing by police and a blooming love story.

Let's being with the cover of the book. It is really simple but somehow the summary of the book and overall appearance keeps nudging you (virtually) to read the book.

Once you pick up the bo...
