The book is a racy political thriller and an enquiry into the underbelly of Indian politics. Important questions concerning the funding of political parties are raised with the protagonist of the book, Shruthi Ranjan. It is based on the infamous case of the brutal rape and eventual death of Nirbhaya.

    Summary of the Book

The heinous and brutal rape of Nirbhaya shook the entire nation. However, rape and crime against women is only a part of something else that is of a greater and deeper concern to our nation. The book is about the Prime Minister and the democratic party and the large opposition party led by Ravi Nehra. There is a total collapse of government. Then, a ray of hope emerges with ex-journalist and RTI activist Daivik Verma, Bollywood actress Catherine Khan and Shruthi Rajan who had sworn off politics three years ago. Whether the trio will manage to come together and dethrone India's worst regime.

Riposte of Feminine Power - Plethora of Emotions
The EDGE OF POWER, much awaited sequel of The EDGE OF DESIRE by TUHIN is a take on the current scenario of the Indian Politics in a chronicle approach. The book has amazing chutzpah/ impudence and catches on with the reader very fast. A page turner...!

The Edge of Power is yet again a brillaint piece of work by Tuhin. It will enthrill you even more if you've read its prequel- The Edge Of Desire, that connects you to Shruti Ranjan better and also you can comprehend the bond between Shruti and Rhea and Shruti and Sahrad a lot more better. A superb read and very close to real life and can be easily connected to. Still, I advice you to read the prequel to enjoy the book totally!

    Tuhin's Best Book!

I have read every book of Tuhin and can say without doubt that this is his best work. Doing justice to so many characters was tough. But Tuhin has come with flying colours. The narrative is tight and pacy and issues very relevant. Go for it!
