The Elements Of Style is a book on reading and writing skills by author William Strunk Jr. This book is the perfect foundation for free writing, and is usually believed to be indispensable for both students and authors. In this book, Strunk points out the qualities required in proper American English style and he does so in a shrewd but graceful manner.
