This is an awesome book by one of the greatest biologists of our time. Dawkins is at his best in the last 5 chapters of this book. A great buy for anyone interested in the study of evolution and animal behaviour.

This is a tough book and certainly not for non technical readers, unlike his previous books i.e. The Selfish gene, The Blind Watchmaker which are all addressed to common people, The Extended Phenotype is as Dawkins himself regarded as his single most important contribution to evolutionary biology, the theories discussed in this book has withstood the course of time and are still relevant in explaining life according to Darwinian ways.

A twin for the Selfish Gene. Both the books give a comprehensive ,well written, account of the Theory of Evolution at the genetic level.
