    About the Book

The Fountainhead is a novel written by Russian-American author Ayn Rand. Howard Roark, the novel's protagonist is an individualistic young architect who designs modernist buildings and refuses to compromise with an architectural establishment that is not willing to accept innovation. Roark embodies what Rand believed to be the ideal man, and his struggle reflects Rand's belief that individualism is superior to collectivism.

    About the Author

    Brilliant

A wonderful book. It is great to know that such a person like Howard Roark existed at least in the imagination. A spectacular portrayal of the the characters and their stories. You'll may not see a building the same way again after finishing this book. This is a story of a Hero. A keeper for sure. My personal 'the best book ever'. A brilliant piece. I go back to reading this book again and again and derive great joy in doing so every time.

Read second time recently... simply brilliant.

First time I read this gem was almost a decade back. two weeks back, it was second turn. This is not very easy for weak hearted people. I remember one of my co-worker in Florida where he read the book and later after a year was scolding that because this book had so much influence on him, he retracted his personal relation and only focused on work resulting in poor appraisal and poor recognition in project.

well I can just laugh at that kinds of foolish conclusion. It ask you to believe in y...

    Indescribable

Not very often do you come across a book, so enigmatic that it makes the other work of art fade into the hindsight. I am yet to read something as immaculate as The Fountainhead. I am yet to see a character as heartbreakingly honest as Howard Roark. I salute the lady who thought light years ahead of her time. A book that changed the world for the better. A world wherein people of fibre still exist!!

    My Best book ever.....

This is the best book i ever read till now. Its not very often that you come across such books and obviously such characters like the protagonist Horward Roark ; Dominique Francon and of course Gail Wynand... thw whole portrayal of the society, nature of their thoughts and the portrayal of an ideal man in shape of Horward Roark was awesome and worth applause...Amidst craps of present day novels n literature which seem more like a typical bollywood shit it offers you a totally intellectual and...

Cant believe this book was written in the 1943

As a fan of AynRand this is one of my favourite books. Very well written and focused on the ideas of individualism. It is the story of a man who doesn't part with his individual believes in-spite of his struggles. If you believe in individualism this book is very inspirational and definitely with a good plot.

    Engrossing and thought provoking

    This book can change lives.

The premise is so strong and so terribly attractive that it is difficult to give this book a pass. Rand establishes what she wants to say in the first chapter itself, introducing Roark and the ideology he(and Rand) believes in.
This is the story of one man's struggle against the world and how he takes pain, survives and in the end, succeeds despite being the eye-sore of society.

Objectivism is a profound ideology, one that requires a firm belief to adhere to. Ru...

    Great product

It's one of the best books, better than it's movie, which expands on the vision and feeling or being an architect in the Modern Period. It gives several lessons for living well, also exhibiting several thought process which can only be described as interestingly insightful.
The product was delivered in the way I hoped it would be. Worth the money, as books generally are, Flipkart products have seldom been unsatisfactory wherever they've been ordered from or delivered to.

Q:i am looking for the" Fountain head" by Aynn rand in this online store, its like there were different cover pages for the same book , help me suggest the genuine or the best one which is readable.
A:This one is a readable one. You may get other versions of this book, mostly paperback, but those are very tiny letters, and as those are mass paperbacks the page quality is also bad.
