Beautifully written language

This classic can prove to be one of the best books for you to improve your English language. And otherwise the story takes you through the sympathetic/empathetic life of an architect in a firm which is quite enjoyable. A small pre-requisite knowledge about art forms may be required for quick grasp and to get involved in the story. This is one of the must read books for book lovers...

The best for the best

The book is a masterpiece of one of the most profound writers of the last century and Ayn Rand shows what a human could be when he achieves his/her highest moral and intellectual position.

The protagonist, Howard Roark, is the ideal man who has impeccable integrity and uncompromising attitude for creativity who encounters the subtle scheming as well as brute force of the society to make him dither. Rand creates a setting relevant for all times and ages and sets the example of Roark to illust...

Rare "review" ever before even reading the book

Dear Readers, I might be one of the few people who would have written a review about a book before even buying it. I have been forcefully recommended to read this to understand who am I and why am I like this. It has increased my curiosity since i have suffered and faced a lot in life due to what I am and what i stand for. I am told I match exactly the lead character of this book , if that's the case , I would write another review post reading the book. Well I have been advised to buy the sec...

simply incredible...best book i have read so far

It is a must read for everyone,U feel like clapping for every answer ROARK gives to his opponents or supporters. Dominique, Roark, Wynand expresses integrity in their own way.U feel like smashing head of people like Ellsworth Toohey but there are so many Ellsworths in the world which we live, who manipulates people for their own benefits and who instills weakness in human beings on the name of morality.Above all what i learned from the character of howard roark is how he remains invincible t...

Amazing is not sufficient a word

Written words do have powers to change the world and this one prove it more. I have been a novel lover all my life have read most serious and complex writers of their time but have never seen written words so powerful that they penetrate through all the assumptions and force you to put down your mask of living and feel your "self" breathing. If you are looking for a book who will help you find yourself don't read this one, this will blast your way to your self and make you accept what is actu...

Hail Howard Roark! - Masterpiece, A Must buy and read!

Loved the way Howard Roark character has been written. He is man who works for noone but for the love of the work. It's easy to say this but he has suffered becuase of his way of living life.

In his famous speech given in the court, he surpassed all characters of the book. Ayn Rand has given a ray of hope to this world where people are so willing to copy and follow others.

Summation of this book "The world is perishing from an orgy of self-sacrificing".
