The Fountainhead is a book worth reading, starting very subtly with the character of Howard Roark. It describes various characters which follow in the story with such a great detail and real way that you start believing that you belong to that virtual world that Ayn created. you'll start knowing the different types of men God created.
Another noticeable point is the use of English....

one should give respect to his profession if he cannot satisfy his profession he cant satisfy himself. the present world is all about commercialism where people don't care about following ethics they just care about money.The best book which describes about the values and ethics in one's profession.

Howard Roark personifies excellence in profession.High thinking, uncompromising ideals and an approach that wins even before the battle begins are the hallmark of his struggle to live ideally in this world.

Its not a novel, its Ayn rand's Brand of philosophy, much needed in times like Now. This novel caters to the many individuals who go for perfection, but lose their hope midway and get lost. The finish is brilliant and novel although written in 1940's holds true even till date.Now onto the next one 'Atlas Shrugged'.
